The Laupāhoehoe Advisory Council (LAC) and the Hawaiʻi Experimental Tropical Forest are co-hosting a National Public Lands Day (NPLD) community workday on Saturday, September 28th. This year’s NPLD theme is, “Together for Tomorrow.” Please join us and spend the day opening up Spencer trail as we make it easily accessible so it can be used for generations to come!

When: 9/28/24 at 8:00am-1:00pm
What to Bring: Snacks, lunch, and a filled water bottle (a water cooler will be available). Please dress in field clothes (long-sleeve and pants recommended) that can get dirty, boots (with good ankle protection), sun protection, and bring layers/rain gear for changing weather conditions. Tools and gloves (optional, we will have some available for use).
